Example. Your client's mother gets louder and louder around them; they think their mother is in such a bad mood they feel angry and start yelling at her.

To correct this, you could tell your client that their mother doesn't always act this way and then teach them coping mechanisms, such as breathing exercises to relax and reduce anger.
